In a move to “brew futures, Barista and the National Youth Corps (NYC) have joined forces to create the NVQ-certified Professional Barista Certificate Program.
Certified by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), this 6 month training program aims to empower young Sri Lankans with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence for success in the hospitality sector.
On April 24th, 2025, we proudly formalized our partnership with the National Youth Corps (NYC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This special occasion brought together Mr. Gamini Wickramapala (Director – NYC) and Mr. Saman Kulasuriya (Additional Director – Training & Development, NYC), and our team members, Mr. Dilupa Pathirana (CEO/Director – Barista Coffee Lanka (Pvt) Ltd) and Mr. Harsha Chanaka (Head of HR & Administration – Barista Coffee Lanka (Pvt) Ltd).
